At the Heart Foundation, we are driven by our purpose - to stop all people in New Zealand dying prematurely from heart disease and enable people with heart disease to live full lives. The delivery of prevention and care and support programmes in New Zealand communities and fundraising for vital heart research describes the diverse work of our team of approximately 140 people across New Zealand.
About the role:
Reporting to the Digital Engagement Manager – this is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact by supporting our strategic objectives through the creation and delivery of relevant, customer-centric digital content.
You will be part of the Marketing and Communications team and get a buzz out of using creative and innovative formats to bring our stories to life. You will be strong in copywriting for an online audience, ensuring that content is optimised for the channel, audience, and search engine, connecting with the public of New Zealand.
Your depth and breadth of experience in the creation of a content strategy and ownership of its delivery will shine out. You will have excellent stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, and execution skills and an ability to ensure the successful delivery of digital content that is relevant and timely. In addition, you will need to have a broad knowledge of web content management systems, a good level of HTML coding skills, and high attention to detail.
The work will be varied and stimulating, you will be working with an experienced digital team, within a wider organisation, of passionate, purpose-driven people committed to serving New Zealanders.
