At the Heart Foundation, we are driven by our purpose – to stop all people in New Zealand dying prematurely from heart disease and enable people with heart disease to live full lives. The delivery of prevention and care and support programmes in New Zealand communities and fundraising for vital heart research describes the diverse work of our team of approximately 130 people across New Zealand.
This new role is part of the Marketing and Communications team, a team responsible for generating Heart Foundation brand awareness, relevance and engagement by creating and implementing strategic marketing and communications initiatives.
What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Marketing Services Lead, this is a role with lots of variety. The Marketing Coordinator provides team support, coordinates workflow and production jobs, looks after marketing assets and resources, including the media library, knows PowerPoint inside-out and can do some basic-level desktop publishing. A key focus of the role is scheduling and giving visibility to short and medium-term tactical activity, and trafficking work with providers, across the Marketing and Communications team and across other teams.
The Marketing Coordinator role would be a great fit for someone who has some experience in generalist marketing roles, is keen to help and keen to learn. A ‘can do’ approach, being exceptionally well organised, following through and demonstrating initiative are some of the qualities needed to be successful.
